Heavy-Duty Cycle Lane Protection
Heavy-duty cycle lane separation for high-speed roads, heavy traffic routes and major junction layouts. Three unit types from 95 to 105kg with superior impact resistance.

Product Overview
Heavy-duty rubber lane separators designed for roads with faster speed limits and heavier traffic, where a more substantial physical presence is required. Three unit types — Double Curve, Single Curve and Extension — each weighing 95 to 105kg. Surface-mounted with no excavation, installed quickly with minimal disruption.
Capabilities
Heavy Duty
95 to 105kg units designed for roads with faster speed limits and heavy traffic. Substantial physical presence for demanding carriageways.
Configurable
Double Curve, Single Curve and Extension units combine for continuous, intermittent or curved configurations on complex layouts.
Surface Mounted
Bolted and bonded to the existing carriageway. Can be relocated if the layout needs to change or the road requires resurfacing.
Applications
Cycle lanes with on-street parking
Traffic and cycle lane division
Standalone junction features
Relocatable for pilot projects
Complex entry/exit geometry

Common Questions
Double Curve, Single Curve and Extension units. All share the same 1,500mm length, 500mm width and 130mm height, allowing flexible configuration for continuous, intermittent or curved layouts.
Yes. They are surface-mounted with adhesive and bolts, and can be removed and reinstalled if the layout needs to change or the road requires resurfacing.
Yes. A block pave effect surface can be specified to order for installations where aesthetic integration with the surrounding streetscape matters.
The units are spaced to allow surface water to pass between them. For continuous runs, drainage gaps can be incorporated into the layout at intervals to suit the site gradient.
Lane Separators are the heavier, more substantial option — designed for high-speed roads and heavy traffic where greater impact resistance is needed. At 95–105kg per unit, they provide a much more robust physical barrier than NCLD. NCLD is typically specified for lower-speed streets where a lighter-weight continuous separation is appropriate.
We can advise on whether Lane Separators, NCLD or a combination is the right specification for your layout.
